Friday Night Lights
"Friday Night Lights" flag football league was founded in Los Alamitos in 2006 by Mark Broersma & Chris Ketcham and has grown to include many of the surrounding communities. The vision was to bring a high-quality, FUN Flag Football league to the community.  Previously kids in this area had very limited, if any, opportunities to participate in this most exciting sport in America.

Currently, FNL operates 17 leagues in the following areas: Paramount, Los Alamitos/Seal Beach, Huntington Beach/Fountain Valley, Newport Beach/Costa Mesa, Garden Grove, Murrieta, Temecula, South Orange County, Irvine/Tustin, Corona, Riverside, Carmel Valley, Rancho Bernardo, Palm Desert, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Edmond/OKC and North County Coast (Carlsbad/La Costa). FNL is for boys and girls of all different skill levels who are in grades K-8. Online registration for the FALL season takes place during the month of May with practices beginning in August and games beginning in September. Registration for the SPRING season takes place in November with practices beginning in February and games beginning in late February.

As with any organization, we are always looking for ways to improve and enhance the FUN experience. We welcome your suggestions. Please email your thoughts and ideas to President Mark Broersma.
