QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience: Any combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for satisfactory job performance. Example combinations include relevant experience and/or training in Recreation, Physical Education, or a related field.

Knowledge and Ability: The successful candidate will have the ability to deal with youth and adults; communicate clearly; periodically lift 50 pounds; set tables and chairs; operate a vacuum cleaner; sweep and mop floors; clean work spaces; assist participants; answer phones; follow written and verbal instructions; establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public, community groups, staff, and other agencies; and exercise good judgement, courtesy, and tact with staff and public.

GENERAL DUTIES: Under general direction, the Recreation Leader will organize and supervise a wide variety of facility functions. Responsibilities will include; facility set up and breakdown, dish washing, decoration, and supervision including special events at City recreation facilities; and perform other duties as assigned.
